Biography

Ray Louis Harrold, age 78 years 6 months and 16 days, passed away on July 13, 2010 in Owasso, OK. He was born on January 27, 1932 in Oologah, OK to John O. and Dessie (Dirickson) Harrold. Ray was a lifelong resident of Collinsville, OK, a truck driver, and a US Army Veteran. On December 30, 1990, Ray married Mary Sue Berner. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Harrold; daughter, Janette Presler (Frank); daughter, Sandra Harrold; son, Stephen Harrold; stepchildren, Connie Harrell, Charlene Helgason, Lisa Hager and Philip Hawes; grandchildren, Jared Presler, Rachel Harrold, Stephanie Harrold, and Samantha Harrold; step-grandchildren, Ashley Harrell Sweet, Adam Harrell and Matthew Hager; step-great grandchildren, Haydyn Sweet and BoDe Sweet; sister, Mary McAlvain; brother, Lee Harrold; and numerous other family members and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Shelia Kay Harrold; his parents; brothers, John and Bob Harrold; and sisters, Maxine Brewer and Marcella Scharmacher.
